No. Scalpr sells admission on the venue's behalf as its authorized agent, at the venue's own price. Scalpr never buys tickets to resell them. Every ticket is a one-time QR code tied to a verified member account, so it cannot be transferred or resold. The name is a play on words, and the product is the opposite of a scalper: tickets come straight from the venue.

New members get a 14-day trial. Founding members who join by December 31, 2026 keep their plan price for as long as their membership stays active. Cancel any time from the website or the app.
Live comedy, live music, club and DJ nights, jazz, and one-off events, mostly in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Venues choose which nights and how many seats to release, so the list changes through the day. Anyone can browse without an account. Claiming needs a membership.
Membership signup is at scalprclub.com/join. The Scalpr Club iPhone app is on the App Store and shows the same events, your tickets, and your QR code. Members also rate the rooms they visit, which builds the Scalpr Score, a member-driven ranking of New York venues.
You post whatever seats you want to make available for a show, your call on the number and the nights. A member claims a seat, shows a QR at the door, and you are paid per seat.
